I am a mom of three, a wife, friend, daughter, and coach.
I Am Here With You To Explore Possibilities
I grew up moving all over the country and lived for a few years in Suffolk County, England. We moved every few years because my dad was in the Air Force. When I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to work with people, but wasn’t exactly sure what that looked like. I lost my mom to ALS at 18 then headed off to college thinking that Physical Therapy was the career path for me. I attended Saint Louis University then quickly became a social worker in the St. Louis community. I had three babies in four years and split my time between my home life and teaching social work. As my kids got a little older, I realized I was yearning for more, a change, but wasn’t sure what was next. I wasn’t even sure where to start and felt a bit stuck. Through work with a Life Coach, I was able to explore my limiting beliefs, connect to my inner self, and start creating the life I wanted. This shift was truly powerful. About seven months in, I mustered up the courage to tell my coach that I thought I should be a Life Coach. “Emily,” she said “I’ve been waiting since our second call for you to tell me that!”
